He /Him Registered Social Worker, BSW Psychotherapist
Do you know what you are looking for? Are you feeling stuck and unsatisfied? I understand making the decision to reach out for help can be a big stumbling block and a good example of how we can often get in our own way to happiness. If you are ready to start the discussion, I would love to meet you and see how I can help and support you. Making the first call is hard, staying stuck is hard: choose your hard.
Chris is a Registered Social Worker with over 30 years of experience helping youth, adults, seniors, families, and couples navigate life’s challenges. He supports clients dealing with relationship concerns, stress, motivation and focus, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. His background also includes working with young people and families in complex situations, including involvement with community and justice systems—experience that informs his compassionate, strengths-based approach.
Chris is highly skilled in working with diverse communities, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and racialized individuals and groups. He works from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and inclusive lens, creating a safe and collaborative space for growth and healing.
As Chair of York University’s School of Social Work Alumni Committee and a longtime instructor at Centennial College, Chris brings deep insight and practical experience to his practice. He has had great success helping men and couples build healthy communication, resolve conflict, set boundaries, and navigate separation, divorce, and co-parenting.
Chris is passionate about Self-Care and Community Care, believing that balance and wellbeing are essential to a fulfilling life. He brings warmth, empathy, and practical strategies to help clients reset, grow, and move forward with confidence.
“Relationships are at the centre of all rewarding things in life. Therapy can help refocus and re-set our priorities to help us feel better, more hopeful and achieve our true potential.
