Can’t wait to meet you!
Rebekah Shaheen
She /Her Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) BA, MACP
Human connection is one of the most powerful experiences in life. In therapy, that connection becomes the foundation for healing. As your therapist, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. This is your space to share your story, explore what matters most to you, and take steps toward meaningful change. I tailor evidence-based approaches to meet your unique needs, always honoring your individuality. If you’re ready to take the first step, I’m here to walk alongside you!
Rebekah is a compassionate and skilled therapist who works with children, youth, and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges and life stressors. She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, and emotional regulation. Rebekah practices from an inclusive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens. She has experience supporting diverse populations, including individuals exploring identity and coping with cultural stressors.
With several years of experience in the community mental health field, Rebekah has supported children, adolescents, and their caregivers through complex emotional and developmental needs. She has a particular passion for helping adolescents and young adults navigate life transitions and build resilience.
Rebekah draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). She tailors her approach to each individual, ensuring therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and responsive to unique goals.
“Life can be busy, stressful, and filled with the unexpected. I believe therapy creates an essential space for reflection, growth, and self-compassion. Seeking help can be daunting but is an incredibly brave first step towards achieving your goals and navigating life’s challenges. I am passionate about my work and honoured to take this journey alongside you.”
