Nice to meet you!
Tessa Zadorsky
She /Her Registered Social Worker, MSW Psychotherapist
Making the decision to begin therapy can be life altering, in the best of ways. I believe that finding the right fit is the most integral part of the process. I want to ensure you have a customized and individualized treatment plan that suits you best and I make it my priority to keep it a collaborative process. I consider myself a natural, straightforward, open and easy going therapist who finds a way to connect this with evidence-based practices for the best results.
Tessa has 10+ years of experience in mental health settings. She specializes in treating adolescents and adults up to their 40s. She is passionate about treating the following difficulties: anxiety, depression, anger, OCD, ADHD, school avoidance, relationship difficulties, trauma, family violence/family difficulties, self-harm and suicidality.
Tessa works from a client-centered, eclectic framework with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In addition, Tessa uses psychodynamic theory to explore clients' past experiences and relational needs in order to fully understand her clients.
